J Herron & Son

Meet John Herron of J Herron and Son in Blyth. This family run jewellers, established in 1841, makes their own jewellery from their workshop at the store.

They sell lots of ranges of jewellery but  also create bespoke pieces, repair customers' existing jewellery and manufacture from scratch. 

 

What can an independent retailer offer? 

Personal service, we are a small family unit and have been serving the town of Blyth for 180 years. The shop has become a real landmark in the town and we have become a name and a business people can rely on. We enjoy helping customers buy that special piece they will have for a lifetime. We offer affordable, high quality, handcrafted collections.

 

People love the Keepsake Collection because it is totally unique. We take customers handprints, handwriting or drawings and laser engrave them on solid Silver or Gold before hand-finishing each piece of jewellery. They are beautiful one offs that we know are completely personal, we can also add engraved messages.  

 

The other popular ranges are the Pet Memorial collection, and individually made puzzle rings and watches.   

 

We’re here to make sure every customer is top priority, and they find the exact style and look they are after, either for themselves or a loved one.
